The Big Apple Bagels in Petoskey is owned and operated by lifetime local residents, Kelly and Lloyd Scripter which they purchased in October of 2021. Both Kelly and Lloyd come with a strong sense of community and a dedication to quality & customer service and look forward to serving this community for years to come.

Quality products and friendly service are two of the key ingredients in separating Big Apple Bagels from nearly everyone else. Our bagels our made from scratch in-house and baked fresh daily. Our cake-like muffins are prepared with a recipe that uses soybean oil – an alternative to butter or margarine – to produce a gourmet muffin that is lower in cholesterol and extraordinary tasting.  We use premium meats, cheeses and greens for made-to-order fresh sandwiches or salads that are quickly prepared for dine-in or to-go service.
